తెలంగాణకు మరో 200 మెగావాట్ల విద్యుత్
తెలంగాణ Telangana News భారత్ ప్రతినిధి : తెలంగాణ అవసరాలకు మరో 200 మెగావాట్ల విద్యుత్ సమకూరనుందని కేంద్ర బొగ్గు గనుల శాఖ మంత్రి కిషన్ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. తెలంగాణకు సౌర విద్యుత్ అందించేందుకు నేవేలీ లిగ్నెట్ కార్పొరేషన్ లిమిటెడ్ (ఎన్ఎల్సీ) గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇచ్చిందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ మేరకు మంగళవారం ఆయన ఓ ప్రకటన విడుదల చేశారు. ఇండియన్ రెన్యూవబుల్ ఎనర్జీ డెవలప్మెంట్ ఏజెన్సీ(ఐఆర్ఈడీఏ) పథకంలో భాగంగా సెంట్రల్ పబ్లిక్ సెక్టార్ యూనిట్స్ స్కీమ్కు లోబడి ఎన్ఎల్సీ సంస్థ 510 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యం గల విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి కేంద్రాన్ని గుజరాత్ లోని కచ్ జిల్లా బిబర్ ప్రాంతంలో ఏర్పాటు చేస్తోందని కిషన్రెడ్డి చెప్పారు.
సోలార్ విద్యుత్ కు అవసరమైన భూమి, అనుకూలమైన వాతావరణం కచ్ లో ఉండడంతో అక్కడ నిర్మాణం చేపట్టాలని నిర్ణయించిందన్నారు. రూ.1,214 కోట్లతో నిర్మిస్తున్న ఈ సౌర విద్యుదుత్పత్తి కేంద్రం పనులు చివరిదశకు చేరాయని, వచ్చే ఏడాది జూన్ నుంచి ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి ప్రారంభమయ్యే అవకాశాలు ఉన్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ తెలంగాణ విద్యుత్ అవసరాలు తీర్చడంలో కీలకంగా మారనుందని తెలిపారు. సోలార్ ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా రూ.2.57/కిలోవాట్ అవర్ కే విద్యుత్ అందుబాటులోకి వస్తుందదని, తద్వారా వచ్చే 25 ఏండ్లలో దాదాపు రూ.2 వేల కోట్లు తెలంగాణ ట్రాన్స్కోకు ఆదా కానుందని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.
Union Coal Mines Minister Kishan Reddy said that another 200 megawatts of electricity will be provided for the needs of Telangana. He mentioned that Navali Lignet Corporation Limited (NLC) has given green signal to provide solar power to Telangana. He issued a statement to this effect on Tuesday. 510 MW under Central Public Sector Units Scheme as part of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) scheme.
He said that as the land required for solar power and suitable climate is in Kutch, it has been decided to take up the construction there. He said that the works of this solar power plant, which is being built at a cost of Rs.1,214 crores, have reached the final stage and there are chances of power generation through this project starting from June next year. He said that this project will become crucial in meeting the electricity needs of Telangana. The solar project will make electricity available at Rs.2.57/kWh.
