ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాలకు సబ్సిడీ అవసరం లేదు కీలక ప్రకటన చేసిన గడ్కరీ
జాతీయ National News భారత్ ప్రతినిధి : ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహన తయారీదారులకు కేంద్రం షాకిచ్చింది ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాల తయారీ పరిశ్రమకు ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి రాయితీలు అవసరం లేదని తెలిపింది. ఈ మేరకు కేంద్ర రవాణా శాఖ మంత్రి నితిన్ గడ్కరీ అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.మోదట్లో ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాలప్రొడక్షన్ కాస్ట్ ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న క్రమంలో సబ్సిడీలు ఇవ్వాల్సి వచ్చిందని అన్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఈవీలకు డిమాండ్ పెరిగిందని, అమ్మ కాలు పెరుగుతుండడంతో ప్రొడక్షన్ కాస్ట్ తగ్గిందని అన్నారు. దీని వల్ల పరిశ్రమకు సబ్సిడీలు అవసరం లేదన్నారు గడ్కరీ.
వినియోగదారులు ఎలక్ట్రిక్,సీఎనీ వాహనాలను సొంతంగా ఎంపిక చేసు కుంటున్నారని, ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాలకు పెద్దగా సబ్సిడీలు ఇవ్వా ల్సిన అవసరం లేదని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్ వాహనాలతో పోలిస్తే ఈవీలపై జీఎస్ట తక్కువ గా ఉందని, ఇక నుంచి ఈవీల తయారీదారులు ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి రాయితీలు కోరడం సమం జసం కాదన్నారు. వచ్చే రెండు సంవత్సరాల్లో పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్ వాహనాలు, విద్యుత్ వాహనాల ధరలు ఒకేలా ఉంటాయని చెప్పారు.
ఎలక్ట్రిక్, హైబ్రీడ్ వాహనాలను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు కేంద్రం త్వరలోనే ఫేమ్-3 స్కీము తీసుకొస్తుందని కేంద్ర భారీ పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి కుమార స్వామి ప్రకటించారు. మొదటి రెండు దశల్లో వచ్చిన సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించేందుకు ప్రయత్నాలు జరుగు తున్నాయని, దీనిపై అందిన సలహాలు, సూచనలను మదింపు చేసి ఒకటి రెండు నెలల్లో ఫేమ్-3 స్కీము ప్రకటిస్తామని తెలిపారు.
The Center has shocked the electric vehicle manufacturers by saying that the electric vehicle manufacturing industry does not need subsidies from the government. To this extent, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that subsidies had to be given due to the high production cost of electric vehicles. He said that currently the demand for EVs has increased and the production cost has decreased due to the increase in popularity. Gadkari said that the industry does not need subsidies due to this.
He made it clear that consumers are choosing electric and CNA vehicles on their own, and in this context, there is no need to give large subsidies to electric vehicles. He said that the GST on EVs is less as compared to petrol and diesel vehicles, hence it is not fair for EV manufacturers to seek subsidies from the government. He said that the prices of petrol, diesel vehicles and electric vehicles will be the same in the next two years.
Union Heavy Industries Minister Kumaraswamy has announced that the Center will soon introduce Fame-3 scheme to promote electric and hybrid vehicles. He said that efforts are being made to resolve the issues raised in the first two phases, and the advice and suggestions received will be evaluated and the Fame-3 scheme will be announced in one or two months.
