ఊరేగింపులో ఉద్రిక్తత పోలీస్ వాహనంలోనే నిమజ్జనానికి విగ్రహం
తెలంగాణ Telangana News భారత్ ప్రతినిధి : వికారాబాద్ జిల్లా పూడూరు మండల కేంద్రంలోని వినాయక నిమర్జనంలో ఆదివారం రాత్రి ఉద్రిక్తత చోటుచేసుకుంది. సౌండ్ బాక్సులు వాడొద్దంటూ పోలీసులు అభ్యంతరం చెప్పినందుకు గ్రామస్తులు ఆందోళనకు దిగారు. ఈ క్రమంలో ఎస్సై మధుసుధన్ రెడ్డి, కొందరు గ్రామస్తుల మధ్య వాగ్వాదం జరిగింది. ఎస్సై మద్యం మత్తులో వచ్చి తమపై దురుసుగా ప్రవర్తిస్తూ హంగామా సృష్టించాడని గ్రామస్తులు ఆరోపిస్తున్నారు.
ఎస్సై వ్యవహరించిన తీరుతో ఆవేశానికి లోనైన కొందరు యువకులు వినాయక విగ్రహాన్ని వాహనం పైనుంచి దించి రోడ్డుపై పెట్టి నిరసన తెలిపారు. వివాదం పెద్దదై పరిగి సిఐ శ్రీనివాస్ రావు ఘటనాస్థలికి చేరుకొని గ్రామస్థులకు నచ్చజెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. ఎస్సై అక్కడే ఉంటే గొడవ పెద్దదవుతుందని ఎస్సై ని అక్కడినుండి పంపించి వేశాడు. ఎస్సై వస్తేనే విగ్రహాన్ని నిమర్జనం చేస్తామని గ్రామస్తులు పట్టుబట్టి అక్కడే కూర్చున్నారు. అర్థరాత్రి వరకు వివాదం కొనసాగింది.
ఎస్సై పై చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని సిఐ శ్రీనివాస్ హామీ ఇవ్వడంతో గ్రామస్తులు ఆందోళన విరమించారు. పోలీసు వాహనంలోనే వినాయక విగ్రహాన్ని తరలించి నిమర్జనం చేశారు. పూడూరు మండలంలో గతంలో ఇలాంటి గొడవలు జరగలేదని, మధుసుధన్ రెడ్డి ఎస్సైగా వచ్చాకే ఇలాంటి గొడవలు జరుగుతున్నాయని ఎస్సై ని వెంటనే వేరే చోటుకు ట్రాన్ఫర్ చేయాలని గ్రామస్తులు కోరుతున్నారు. యూనిఫామ్ లో ఉన్న ఓ ఎస్సై మద్యం సేవించి డ్యూటీ చేయడం సిగ్గు చేటని ఆరోపించారు.

Enraged by the behavior of SSI, some youth protested by taking down the idol of Ganesha from the top of the vehicle and placing it on the road. As the dispute escalated, CI Srinivas Rao reached the scene and tried to pacify the villagers. He sent the SSI away saying that if the SSI stays there, there will be a big fight.
After CI Srinivas assured that action will be taken against the SSI, the villagers stopped their agitation. The idol of Ganesha was moved and immersed in the police vehicle. It is said that there were no such fights in Puduru mandal in the past and such fights are happening only after Madhusudhan Reddy came as SS, and the SS should be transferred to another place immediately.
