కేరళలో ఇంకా మంకీ ఫాక్స్ ఇన్పెక్షన్ ఉన్నట్లు అనుమానం
జాతీయ National News భారత్ ప్రతినిధి : వైరస్‌కు పాజిటివ్ పరీక్షించి, ఢిల్లీ ప్రభుత్వ ఆధ్వర్యంలోని ఎల్‌ఎన్‌జెపి ఆసుపత్రిలో చేరిన తర్వాత గత వారం దేశ రాజధానిలో కోతిపాక్స్ (ఎంపాక్స్) కొత్త కేసు నమోదైంది. ఇండియాలో రెండు మంకీ ఫాక్స్ వైరస్ కేసులు నమోదైనాయి. హర్యానాలోని హిసార్‌కు చెందిన ఓ యువకుడు ఎంఫాక్స్ బారిన పడ్డాడు. మరోటి కేరళలోని మలప్పురం జిల్లాలో నమోదైంది. అతను సెప్టెంబర్ 9న మరణించాడు.
రోగి కొద్దిరోజుల క్రితం కేరళకు వచ్చారని, అస్వస్థతకు గురికావడంతో మొదట ఓ ప్రైవేట్ ఆసుపత్రిలో చేరారని జిల్లా ఆరోగ్య అధికారి తెలిపారు. అక్కడి నుండి అతన్ని మంజేరి మెడికల్ కాలేజీలో చేర్పించారు. ఇది మంకీపాక్స్ కేసు కావచ్చని అనుమానించడంతో శాంపిల్ తీసుకొని కోజికోడ్ మెడికల్ కాలేజీకి పంపాము. అతనికి ఎంఫాక్స్ పాజిటీవ్ వచ్చిందని కేరళ వైద్యాధికారులు చెప్తున్నారు.
ఎంఫాక్స్ అంటువ్యాధి కాబట్టి ఇంకా కొందమందికి ఈ మంకీఫాక్స్ సోకి ఉండవచ్చిని అనుమానిస్తున్నారు డాక్టర్లు జూలై 2022 నుంచి భారతదేశంలో 30 కేసులు నమోదైయ్యాయి. కేంద్ర ఆరోగ్య మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఎప్పటిలాగే దీనిని కూడా ఐసోలేటెడ్ కేసుగా పేర్కొంది.
A new case of Kotipox (Mpox) was reported in the national capital last week after he tested positive for the virus and was admitted to the Delhi government's LNJP Hospital. Two cases of monkey fox virus have been reported in India. A young man from Hisar, Haryana was infected with Mphox. Another one was recorded in Malappuram district of Kerala.
The district health officer said that the patient had come to Kerala a few days ago and was first admitted to a private hospital after falling ill. From there he was admitted to Manjeri Medical College. Suspecting that it might be a case of monkeypox, we took a sample and sent it to Kozhikode Medical College. He was Mfox positive
As Mfox is contagious, doctors suspect that some people may have been infected with this monkeyfox. Since July 2022, 30 cases have been reported in India. The Union Health Ministry, as always, termed this as an isolated case.
