చైల్డ్ పోర్నోగ్రఫీ చూసినా కూడా జైలుకే సుప్రీంకోర్టు సంచలన తీర్పు
జాతీయ National News భారత్ ప్రతినిధి : చైల్డ్ పోర్నోగ్రఫీపై సుప్రీంకోర్టు సంచలన తీర్పు వెల్లడించింది. చైల్డ్ పోర్నోగ్రఫీ చూడటం నేరం కాదంటూ మద్రాస్ హైకోర్టు ఇచ్చిన తీర్పును సవాల్ చేస్తూ దాఖలైన పిటిషన్ పై విచారణ జరిపిన సర్వోన్నత ధర్మాసనం సోమవారం ( సెప్టెంబర్ 23, 2024 ) తీర్పును వెల్లడించింది. చైల్డ్ పోర్నోగ్రఫీ చూడటం నేరం కాదంటూ మద్రాస్ హైకోర్టు ఇచ్చిన తీర్పును తోసిపుచ్చింది సుప్రీంకోర్టు.
చైల్డ్ పోర్నోగ్రఫీకి సంబందించిన సమాచారాన్ని వాడటం కూడా నేరంగా పరిగణించాలని పేర్కొంది. న్యాయస్థానాల్లో ఈ పదాన్ని కూడా వాడొద్దంటూ ఆదేశించింది సుప్రీంకోర్టు. పోక్సో, ఐటీ చట్టాల ప్రకారం చైల్డ్ పోర్నోగ్రఫీకి సంబందించిన ఫోటోలు, వీడియోలు చూడటం, డౌన్లోడ్ చేయటం నేరమని తెలిపింది సుప్రీంకోర్టు.
దీని కారణంగా పెల్లలపై లైంగిక దాడులు పెరిగే ప్రమాదం ఉందని పేర్కొంది. చైల్డ్ పోర్నోగ్రఫీ పట్ల చాలామంది దుర్వినియోగానికి పాల్పడుతున్నారని తెలిపింది. ఇక నుండి చైల్డ్ పోర్నోగ్రఫీకి బదులుగా చైల్డ్ సెక్సువల్ అబ్యూసివ్ అండ్ ఎక్స్ ప్లాయిటేటివ్ మెటీరియల్ అన్న పదాన్ని వాడాలని పేర్కొంది. ఈ మేరకు ఆర్డినెన్స్ను రూపొందించాలంటూ పార్లమెంటుకు సూచనలు జారీ చేసింది సుప్రీంకోర్టు.
